Adaptive and cinematic compositions created for games, interactive media, and visual storytelling.
Composition • Arrangement • Performance • Production
One of my submissions for the Indie Game Music Contest in Spring 2026 featuring adaptive instrumentation and layered composition techniques.
This is NOT the original music in the game and is solely for the purpose of the competition. I played live drums, bass, and guitar on these tracks, as well as MIDI synths, virtual instruments, and keys.
To make the music adaptive, I focused on adding and removing instruments based on the body that is equipped. Multiple bodies equipped are written to work with each other over the base track.

To make the music adaptive, I focused on build progression, key sequences (with audio ducking), and fanfare for Gosha. I also added a separate ocean/seagull atmosphere for cohesion and ambiance.

One of my submissions for the Indie Game Music Contest in Winter 2025 featuring adaptive instrumentation and layered composition techniques.
This is NOT the original music in the game and is solely for the purpose of the competition. I played MIDI synths, virtual instruments, and keys.
I decided to use the number of turns, hunger, and thirst levels to dictate key elements of the music. The more the hunger bar depleted towards starvation, I increased baritone horns playing a more tense bass line over the track, which is based on the season (Summer). I did the same for thirst, with gong splashes. As for the turns, I kept it simple with the following metrics: under 10 days, over 10 days, over 20 days; increasing intensity by adding various percussion.

One of my submissions for the Indie Game Music Contest in Winter 2025 featuring adaptive instrumentation and layered composition techniques.
This is NOT the original music in the game and is solely for the purpose of the competition. All bass, drums, and guitar parts were recorded with live instruments. In addition, I played MIDI synths, virtual instruments, and keys.
To make the music adaptive, I focused on critical health status, collisions/boosts (with audio ducking), menu/submenus, track changes, results, and fanfare for achievement/penalty.
